Flipkart And eDAO Are Bringing “Flipverse” Together


Flipkart is all set to evolve its shopping system for a better experience that the users will be able to taste. The company is all set to bring the Metaverse initiative. They are calling this the Flipverse. To simplify, it will be a real-time and realistic metaverse/virtual world where people can discover items and shop on the app. This means whatever products you look at, you can directly purchase from Flipkart. To bring this idea into reality the company has collapsed with eDAO and Polygon Incuvated Org.

How Can You Use This Flipverse?

The UI of Flipverse will provide a 2D product catalog which will be shown in a 3D-generated store. You will be free to walk around the store to discover new products to shop for. To bring in traffic, the company is planning to host various events, games, mystery boxes, launch events, feature drops, etc. You can call this Flipverse Web 3.0. What we use right now on the app is a traditional 2.0 Web.

Where can we access Flipverse?

It will be launched on its own Flipkart E-commerce platform along with FireDrops. Only Android users will be able to experience the first wave of this verse. So if you use Android, you can just simply open the Flipkart app and start experiencing the virtual world.

What brands to expect on FlipVerse?

Brands like Noise, Puma, Nivea, Tokyo Talkies, VIP, Campus, Lavie, Himalaya, Ajmal Perfumes, Butterfly India, etc will be launching in FlipVerse.

By providing customers with access to their preferred brands, offers, SuperCoins, and digital collectibles, we are aiming to improve their shopping experiences in a virtual and immersive setting.”
