Razer’s new offering Razer Viper 8K gaming mouse has been out now. It is claimed to have the fastest speed of 8000Hz polling rate with the lowest click latency rate of less than 0.125ms. The weight is approximately 71 grams which is quite light yet lighter gaming mouse options are available for the same brand.

The selling price of this gaming mouse is $79.99 in the US (roughly 5,900 INR). The company offers only a single black color. It can be purchased from the company website and the Best Buy website. The purchasing option in India is not available yet.


The world’s first e-sport Razer Viper 8K gaming mouse introduced with Hyperpoling Technology outdo true 8000Hz polling rate; i.e. eight times faster than the usual 1000Hz gaming mouse. It will assist gamers to achieve pro-levels reducing the input delay from 1ms to 0.125ms(1/8th). It is also coupled with a high-speed USB microcontroller.

The Razer Focus+Optical sensors’ 20,000 DPI exert granular control. It is combined with 2nd generation Optical Sensors rated 70 million clicks and tracks the finest movement leading the industry with 99.6% resolution accuracy.

Its ambidextrous design attracts gamers both right and left-handed. It is manufactured with 100 percent PTFE(Polytetrafluoroethylene); and a gaming-grade tactile scroll wheel for smooth movement. The Razor Viper is embedded with programmable buttons, and uses advanced Life-off/Landing distance customization.

The Razer Synapse 3 and Razer Chroma RGB lighting with true 16.8 million customizable color options on its logo takes the hardware configuration to the next level.

The Razor Viper 8K Gaming Mouse also has Onboard memory (4+1 profiles), and Hybrid Cloud storage to maintain the gamer’s progression whilst switching to another computer. It is quite light i.e. 71g excluding 1.8m/6ft Speedflex cable.
