Twitter Spaces Rolling Out For Android Users Globally For Wider Testing

Twitter Spaces is like some sort of audio chat clubhouse. This clubhouse-style feature of Twitter was tested on iPhone previously and now it is available globally for Android users too. Now, Android users can also join the spaces and can get engage with the voice chat. Android users won’t be able to host the spaces but don’t worry this feature will be available for Android soon.

It is now available to all Android users. As you are aware of the Android marketing in India, the number of Android users is increasing every day.

More About Twitter Spaces

Twitter Spaces is a feature that lets you create your own public and private chatrooms and lets you engage in voice chats. This was announced in December last year and was tested that there is an expansion in iOS users from 1000 to 3000.

In June last year, they also brought voice tweets and voice DMs for iOS users and said it will be soon available for Android too. You can only use the Twitter Spaces feature only if you are a beta user, and your followers can join the space.

Twitter came up with a statement saying that “We’re expanding to give more people a chance to join spaces and listen in! Rolling out over the next few days; people with Android will now be able to join, listen and speak in conversation over spaces”.

The company also stated that “keep an eye out for the purple aura in your fleetline and tap to join. You can also join spaces via a link shared with you (via Tweets, DMs). People on Android can also use emoji reactions, view captions, and be invited to speak in a Space”.

With the update of Twitter Space, within a year they have crossed 10 million downloads already. This update is going to take a new turn in India where you meet Android users mostly.
