Last year, Apple reduced its workforce by 200 employees on the Titan project; people started to think that the Apple car would only be a dream. But according to the recent news, the Apple car may launch in September 2021.
One Taiwanese publication said that Apple is asking its suppliers, such as Bizlink-KY, to produce self-driving technology parts. All these claims are unbelievable because it was expected that Apple Car would launch around 2023. Well, there is no single official confirmed news regarding the launch of the Apple Car.
But it can be said that the Apple car is on its way and will make it to the world anytime.
Apple Electric Car is A Huge Thing
Apple is working on its Titan project of electric cars for a long time. The company has made an enormous investment, filed patents on self-driving technology, and partnered with big automakers to make this project successful.
Undoubtedly, it’s one of the dream projects of Apple. The project is known by the name Titan. There is no confirmation, but the Apple car can be a mid-size electric van.
Besides this, the key features make the Project Titan fancy.
The Apple Car project is managed by the Dough Field VP of the Special Projects Group of Apple and Bob Mansfield – former SVP of Technologies Dough Field.
Titan Project also includes ex-Tesla engineers like Andrew Kim and Dr. Michael Schwekutsch. All the people on the project has excellent experience, and these were behind numerous successful cars. However, Apple is working seriously to make its first electric car.
Hence, I think it’s too early to say anything about the Apple electric car. No wonder Apple will indeed launch its electric car with some advanced technology and a hefty price tag.
