Here’s Your First Official Look At OnePlus 9 Pro; Launching On March 23

OnePlus series is set to unbox the OnePlus 9 Pro on the evening of 23rd March 2021. The announcement of its partnership with Hasselblad has become a talk of the show. The first look of the OnePlus 9 Pro made public reveals the Hasselblad Camera in a draw. OnePlus 9 Pro is supposed to launch in Morning Mist color alongside black, white, and green.

In its official announcement on Twitter, OnePlus disclosed the date and time of launch – 23 March 2021, at 7:30 pm IST. The company also shared some sample pictures, one of which discloses the Hasselblad branded quad-camera at its back.

Besides, the company installed a dedicated store application in Canada and North America. Hence, the customers from these regions can place pre-order via the application or website for the upcoming smartphone. Customers from other regions can also pre-order this smartphone from its official website. In India, the expected price for the OnePlus 9 Pro would be Rs. 51,990.

OnePlus Series

OnePlus series is bringing advanced features in terms of network connectivity, the latest OS, and more. The company claims that the OnePlus 9 series offers the fastest-ever wireless charging technology, 65W warp charging through USB type-c cable in both OnePlus 9 and Oneplus 9 Pro, and 50W wireless charging in OnePlus 9 Pro. The company is putting efforts into other areas like color tuning and sensors by making improvements in its software. For sensors, it will use a custom Sony IMX789 (the largest and most advanced main camera sensor ever installed on the OnePlus device) claimed by the company in a press release.

Partnership With Hasselblad

Hasselblad has confirmed a three-year partnership with the OnePlus. In its official announcement, Hasselblad posted a few samples shoot from the new quad-camera. Hasselblad is now responsible for the new camera setup for next-generation OnePlus smartphones.

OnePlus 9 Pro Features

This smartphone runs on the latest operating system Android 11. The 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display is 6.78-inch long. It comes with a Quad High Display (QHD) resolution of 1440×3168. You can enjoy continuous shooting in High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode. To adjust ISO, focus, exposure times, and white balance you will also have a “Hasselblad Pro Mode.”

The most striking feature of this new smartphone is that it supports the 5G network, and is coupled with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Soc; confirmed by both the company (OnePlus and Hasselblad) and Qualcomm on Twitter. This smartphone has a memory of 256GB, a RAM of 12GB, and it offers less consumption with LTPO display technology.

The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, and this smartphone has an in-display fingerprint scanner. The punch-hole selfie camera is at the top left of the display, supports 20MP whereas the Hasselblad branding Quad rear cameras support 64MP+16MP+48MP+5MP. OnePlus said that its 4500 mAh battery will be fully charged in 43 minutes.

Other features include digital zoom, auto flash, and face detection. This 205 gm lightweight smartphone features an on-screen optical type fingerprint sensor, and other sensors like Accelerometer, Gyro, Proximity, and Compass. Based on sources, it comes with a five-layer gaming-grade cooling system to resolve the heating issue.

Now, the market is waiting for the launch of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, which competes with Vivo x Zeiss and Huawei x Leica.
