Huawei Launches Huawei Nova 8 SE With iPhone 12-Like Flat Design

After the many rumors circulating, the company had announced that it will release Huawei Nova 8 SE on November 5 in China. The Nova 7 successor device launched at 2 p.m. local time in China.

This information was uploaded directly through the Chinese social media network, Weibo. Huawei’s post on Weibo actually had a teaser which confirmed that the Nova 8 SE will have four rear cameras and also a flat frame that looks very similar to iPhone 12.

You can see that the right side of the smartphone houses the volume rocker and power button. Meanwhile, a separate poster shows Nova 8 SE’s finer details, while also confirming colors and some specs. It includes a 6.53 “OLED screen, a 64MP quad-camera, and 66W fast charging, as quoted from GSMarena.

Unfortunately, until now Huawei has not revealed the full specification sheet of this smartphone. However, rumors say that this smartphone will pack an FHD+ screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and have two variants supported by two different chipsets, namely Density 720 and Density 800U.

When launched, Huawei will present two variants of Nova 8 SE. The difference between these two variants is basically in the chipset used by the two devices. The first Nova 8 SE variant has the MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor and the other device has the Mediatek Dimensity 800U chipset. Nova 8 SE will have a battery with a capacity of 3,800 mAh.

Price and Launch Date

So far, we don’t have any detailed information about this device. All these leaks will be confirmed shortly when this smartphone is launched.

It seems that we have to wait patiently until Huawei actually launches the Huawei Nova 8 SE series to find out more information about the specifications and price. The price and availability of this product is still a mystery.
