Vivo X60 Series Confirmed To Launch In India On March 25

Vivo has confirmed the launch of the Vivo X60 Series on 25 March 2021 by sending out invites to the Indian media. Originally, the series has already made its debut in China last year in December 2020. The Vivo X60 series is bringing three models, Vivo Vanilla X60, Vivo X60 Pro, and Vivo X60 Pro Plus.

The tag line ‘Photography Redefined’ clearly speaks of advancement in the phone camera. On India’s Vivo official website, they mentioned collaboration with a German company, Carl Zeiss. The company Zeiss is specialized in camera lenses making sense to the tagline.

Key Features

As mentioned above, the series already launched in China with Exynos 1080 SoC processor in Vanilla X60 and X60 Pro but, in India, the series is coming up with different processors. Vanilla X60 and X60 Pro are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. Whereas, X60 Pro Plus is powered by Snapdragon 888; the same processor used in China for X60 Pro Plus.

Similar Features

All three models are running on Vivo’s Origin OS based Android 11 featuring Virtual RAM technology that increases RAM capacity by 3GB. Thereby it comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB memory storage. The Full High Definition (FHD) display of 6.56 inches paired with AMOLED with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Diverse Features

Vivo X60 Pro Plus has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, backed up by a 4200-mAh battery and a flash charging of 55W. Considering its tagline the rear camera comes with 50 MP (main camera), 48MP (wide-angle lens), 32MP (portrait sensor), and 8MP (periscope lens) which has the ability to super zoom 60 times. The front/selfie camera comes with 32MP.

Further, Vivo Vanilla X60 and X60 Pro come in combination with 48MP (main camera); 13MP (ultra-wide shooter), 13MP (portrait camera), and an 8MP (periscope camera) that also have the ability to super zoom 60 times. While X60 is backed by a 4300 mAh battery, X60 Pro is paired with a 4200 mAh battery; the flash charging is 33W which is the same for both.

The company may launch X-series in other Asian countries before and after making a launch in India.
