Vivo X60 Series Confirmed To Launch On 29th December

For the past couple of weeks, Vivo is teasing the world about the launch of the Vivo X60 Series. Also, Vivo has confirmed the news that the Samsung Exynos 1080 chipset will power these phones. For unique camera technology, the company has also announced a co-engineering partnership with Zeiss.

Vivo X60 Series: Launch Date

Today on Weibo, the company has announced the launch date of the X60 series. The Vivo X60 series will be releasing on 29th December 2020. The company will mostly launch the three new phones under the series – Vivo X60, X60 Pro, and X60 Pro+ in China.

Specifications

As per the leaked information, people already know that the two smartphones will be the first phones powered by the 5nm based Exynos 1080 chipset. All the devices will work on Android 11 based Origin OS (FunTouchOS skin).

Both the series’ models will have a 6.55-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. There will be a punch hole on the front camera. X60 will have a flat display whereas X60 Pro will have curved edges. And both the phones will have the 33W fast charging system. There will be 4300 mAh battery support.

Both the variants will have the cameras of the Zeiss brand. The phone has a 48MP primary and 13MP ultra-wide camera setup. In X60, there will be an 8MP portrait lens, and in Pro, there will be a 1MP portrait lens and an 8MP telephoto lens to complete the quad-camera setup.

However, Vivo X60 Pro+ is still a mystery, but in Pro+ audience can expect a Snapdragon 888 SoC. Vivo is planning to unveil the Pro+ on the event day only.
